NCP is new OEM supplier to Arkoon Network Security
Arkoon Network Security will rely on NCP technology for its Security BOX® SmartCONNECT
NUREMBERG/LYON, November 2007 – NCP engineering GmbH, manufacturer of communications solutions, has expanded its OEM partnerships and has become a new technology supplier to Arkoon, a provider of solutions for data protection, communications and information system infrastructures. NCP will supply Arkoon Network Security with Secure Client software. The VPN client will be marketed by Arkoon Network Security under the name Security BOX® SmartCONNECT , a product designed specially for the protection of mobile data communications.

The Security BOX® SmartCONNECT will allow companies to provide their mobile employees with secure access to central databases and applications from any end device in any location. Mobile teleworkers will be able to work transparently and securely, just as if they were at their office desks. The integrated IPSec client works as a communications module and takes over all security and communications functions, from initiating and terminating connections to encryption and authentication.
