NCP engineering Inks Distribution Deal with SYNNEX Corporation

Partnership Caps 12-Month Growth Period for Secure Remote Access Software Maker

Nancy Lam-Calderon, Channel Manager NCP USA

Mountain View, CA—August 1, 2011—NCP engineering, Inc. today announced that it has signed a distribution partnership with SYNNEX Corporation. Under the terms of the agreement, SYNNEX will promote and distribute NCP’s products through the channel to its resellers and systems integrators in the U.S. NCP’s award-winning remote access VPN products are 100% software, and enable enterprises to overcome the complexities of creating, managing and maintaining secure network access for staff.

The full line of NCP products available through SYNNEX includes the NCP Secure Enterprise Management System, NCP Secure Enterprise Server, NCP Secure Enterprise Client and the NCP Secure Entry Client. Each NCP product is 100% interoperable with major network-layer security technologies, including VPN gateways and firewalls, and supports the broadest range of platforms, including Windows 7/Vista/XP, Windows Mobile/Phone, Android, Mac OS X, Mac iOS, BlackBerry, Symbian and Linux.

“The patchwork reality of today’s remote access technology has created hardships for CIOs who want to innovate yet are restricted by brittle infrastructure links, and network managers who have to expand their staff to cope with maintenance, provisioning and patches,” said Nancy Lam-Calderon, director of channel sales, Americas, NCP engineering. “Interoperable, scalable solutions that can solve these problems create strong revenue streams for VARs and systems integrators. With NCP’s next-generation network access technology, this is now possible.”

The SYNNEX deal caps a fruitful, 12-month growth period for NCP engineering. Since July 2010, the company’s revenue has grown by 27%, signed more than 1,000 new customers and built a strong two-tiered channel program consisting of 250 partners. The company has emerged from a market entry posture and is firmly on track for continued expansion. To lead this next phase, Jochen Gundelfinger and Rainer Enders were appointed as CEO, Americas, and CTO, Americas, respectively. Several key hires were also made, including Manuel Greisinger as director of sales, Americas and Ms. Lam-Calderon, with plans to build the team further over the next 8-12 months.

“After a very successful period establishing NCP engineering in the Americas, the company is now in a position to grow strong channel and large enterprise customer relationships. Key to this next step was to make a series of changes that would directly support these efforts,” said Mr. Gundelfinger. “Changes included parting ways with previous Americas management, president and CEO, Peter Felgentreff, and executive vice president, Martin Hack. Their efforts to bring NCP into the Americas market were a milestone for the company, and we thank them for their service.”
