NCP engineering GmbH has today announced the latest major release of its NCP Secure Entry Client for Windows 32 and 64 bit operating systems, version 9.3. In version 9.3, the software supports the Windows 7 standard Mobile Broadband, also IKEv2, IPv6 in its firewall, and has a new improved and simplified personal firewall GUI. On top of that, it is the first VPN Client that features seamless roaming.

Version 9.3 is very easy to use, allowing users with the integrated personal firewalls to directly activate or deactivate firewall rules in one single click. It is similarly easy for administrators to set up pre-defined rules. This new version even allows for set up of IPv6 rule.

Another unique feature is that it enables communication via LTE over Windows Mobile Broadband Interface, which ensures maximal data communication speed, allowing users to download and access data quicker than before. Comprising an integrated internet connector (dialer), the client also automatically supports all current and prospective 3G/4G cards

“Seamless roaming is a key feature of future mobile computers. It is the ability to constantly change between various different networks. Online applications have to be able to retain the active session despite connection losses or changing networks. Combined with NCP's Secure Enterprise VPN Server, NCP's Secure VPN Client Version 9.3 is the first VPN Client worldwide that features seamless roaming,” commented Patrick Oliver Graf, International Sales Director at NCP engineering.
