Not all remote access solutions equal each other

Common suppliers of remote access solutions primarily produce and sell hardware (router or firewalls). Frequently a basic VPN client is added to the packet as a special supplement free of charge. Hardware suppliers usually neither focus on, nor satisfy the complex requirements a large scale remote access scenario sets.  

Nowadays, remote access consists of a multitude of different scenarios (mobile employees, teleworker and branch office networking) while various communication media have to be featured (xDSL, cellular telephony, satellites, etc.). In contrast to remote access solutions 20 years ago, suppliers of modern remote access solutions constantly have to adapt to changing business requirements. Various VPN solutions, which only feature very basic functions, leave the major part of the work for the administrators.   

Since its foundation in 1986, NCP engineering GmbH has been convinced that large scale and complex remote access projects with several thousand users can only be suitably operated with a holistic remote access solution.
