In response to the demand for Next Generation Network Access Technology NCP offers all components for the deployment of a comprehensive VPN solution. One-stop-shop. Universal and secure - made in Germany! The individual modules of the solution are combined in the NCP Secure Enterprise Solution.
The software solution combines all current security standards for comprehensive authentication of systems and users with IPSec and SSL technologies for encrypted data transmission within a VPN tunnel.
SSL VPNs are the best choice for external partners or ad hoc (employed) users,not for employed power users (source: Gartner 2007).
Legacy IPSec solutions are impractical for large scale rollouts (source: Quocirca 2008)
NCP has made Remote Access usable both for power users and for large scale rollouts.

A conventional VPN client assumes that there is already an internet connection. Whereas, the universal NCP Suite handles the dial-in and the firewall protection in addition. Users as well as administrators describe the NCP Next Generation Network Access Technology -(smooth user experience) as easy-to-use. All components of the client including the integrated dial-in and the dynamic personal firewall an be centrally managed also.
Performance
Due to the architecture, the SSL VPN technology needs substantially more resources than IPSec (on the server-side). The IPSec connection has also a lower bandwidth requirement. |
Based on an intuitive GUI and integrated, automated processes within the VPN client, communications features are extremely user friendly.
Centralised managemend adds transparency. Administrators can monitor the current status for all remote teleworkplaces and systems at any time. Another issue is Network Access Control (NAC) and endpoint security – i.e. central monitoring of compliance with security guidelines in regards to accessing the company network.
Our High Availability Services (Failsafe and Load Balancing) guarantee high availability of one or more NCP Secure Enterprise Servers.
