‘SEM News’ - Managing Remote Access VPNs Comfortably - Release of the latest Version 2.02

NCP Secure Enterprise Management (SEM) manages and monitors all components of a virtual private network centrally - remote workplaces and VPN gateways.

Various plug-ins, e.g. Network Access Control (NAC), VPN client and gateway configurations, certificate management (PKI), license management, software distribution, Radius servers, and Personal Firewall Management (PFM) allow for communications and security related transparency. All function modules are part of the basic system and come as standard.
We have integrated additional performance features to provide even more transparency for the everyday tasks performed by the network administrator, and to enhance the overall functionality of the system platform as a whole. The latest SEM version 2.02 simplifies client management and provides full client capabilities. It facilitates client updates via the LAN update functionality, integrates multiple certification support, and optimises the graphic display of the current system status.

We are very proud to have been presented with the ‘Global Product Excellence Award’ by Info Security Product Guides, the leading publication in the area of security products and technologies in the US. NCP had submitted entries for the topics of ‘Remote Access’ and ‘VPN/IPSec/SSL’, and came out on top in both categories. Winning this award for the NCR Remote Access VPN solution has reinforced our leadership position in comparison with other providers internationally, and proves that our solution measures up to even the most exacting security requirements

International Success for NCP at the RSA Conference in San Francisco and the Info Security in London

NCP successfully presented their latest developments in the areas of Secure Remote Access and Integrated Universal VPN Solutions at the two most highly regarded international IT Security fairs under the motto ‘Next Generation Network Access Technology – New IPSec beats SSL’. In particular, the statement ‘IPSec beats SSL’ caused much excitement. No matter which tunnelling technology a company decides to employ - they hybrid VPN gateway from NCP provides the entire spectrum of options.
Based on the overwhelming success NCP enjoyed in the US, the company has decided to expand their staff in the US and their German subsidiary in Nuremberg.
