Biometric Authentication with NCP VPN Clients

NCP Engineering GmbH has once again demonstrated the compatibility of its VPN client with a multitude of biometric authentication solutions.

Currently being tested: the fingerprint scanner U.are.U 4000B by digitalPerson Inc. On the basis of NCP’s standard conformity software, companies will also in the future be able to rely on biometric processes and products that can be readily integrated into virtual private networks.

Browserless Login at T-Mobile Hotspots via WISPr

The WISPr standard (wireless Internet service provider roaming), the new browserless hotspot login technology, will simplify hotspot access for users significantly.
Once configured, users will be able to establish VPN connections at any T-Mobile hotspots with a single click. Tedious inputs of user ID and passwords in web browser windows will once and for all be a thing of the past. Hotspot support for additional providers is already in the pipeline.
The NCP Client is compatible with all T-Mobile hotspots in Germany (including Deutsche Bahn ICE trains), Austria, the Netherlands, Czech Republic, and the UK, as well as Lufthansa lounges in some international airports.
