NCP engineering today announced the release of its NCP Secure Enterprise Android Client 4.1 for secure virtual private network (VPN) connections. Compatible with Android version 4.4 and newer, the NCP Secure Enterprise Android Client offers advanced authentication via fingerprint and an integrated FIPS mode for data encryption.
As employees are increasingly accessing corporate networks from remote devices, secure data connections must be enforced to reduce the risk of cyberattacks. The NCP Secure Enterprise Android Client 4.1 provides corporate networks with advanced protection against access by unauthorized third parties. In addition, an intuitive graphical user interface (GUI) shows all connection and security states before and during data connections.
In addition to the NCP Secure Enterprise Android Client 4.1, the company is also releasing the new NCP Secure Enterprise macOS Client 3.2 and NCP Secure Entry macOS Client 3.2. Both clients are compatible with macOS 10.14 Mojave and feature authentication via fingerprint, FIPS, a dynamic firewall, encryption, IKEv2, and multi-certificate support.

The NCP Secure Enterprise Android Client 4.1 and the NCP Secure Enterprise macOS Client 3.2 feature a GUI that functions similarly across all devices and both have a centrally managed personal firewall in place. The NCP Secure Entry macOS Client 3.2 includes every functionality of the Enterprise Client except for the capability to be centrally managed.
Also available are the NCP Exclusive Remote Access Android Client 4.1 and the NCP Exclusive Remote Access macOS Client 3.2. These clients are fully compatible with Juniper Networks® SRX Series firewalls and are available through the Channel only. They are administered via the NCP Exclusive Remote Access Management.
